Kodak Imaging for Windows is not in Windows XP or Vista

Kodak Imaging for Windows is not included with Windows XP.
Kodak Imaging for Windows is not included with Windows Vista.
Kodak Imaging for Windows is not included with Windows 7.
Kodak Imaging for Windows is not included with Windows 8.

Kodak Imaging for Windows (kodakimg.exe) was included in the Microsoft Windows operating system starting with Windows 95, up to and including Windows 2000.  The versions included with Windows are supported by Microsoft. 
Imaging for Windows is not, however, part of Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista. It is not legal to install Imaging for Windows from older versions of Windows on Windows XP,Vista, Windows7 or Windows 8. For Windows XP and later versions of Windows you must purchase a licence to use Imaging on each PC.

Global 360 Imaging for Windows replaces, and is compatible with, the Wang Imaging for Windows  (wangimg.exe) included in Windows 95 and NT and the Kodak Imaging for Windows (kodakimg.exe) and Imaging Preview (kodakprv.exe) in Microsoft Windows 98 and 2000 (sometimes known as Microsoft Windows Imaging).
