Alliance Imager is document management software which uses document imaging and scanning technology to transform paper documents and faxes into electronic documents that can be viewed, edited and distributed within a PC environment. Alliance Imager provides Document-Management of scanned and electronically generated documents (such as Word or Excel) in a searchable database.

Alliance BatchScan is document scanning software which scans paper documents using TWAIN compatible document scanners. Documents may be scanned for Indexing into the Alliance Imager document management system or the Alliance PaperChase records management system or saved into a Microsoft Windows folder.
Documents are saved as multi-page TIFF files. Scanned images are displayed on screen as they are being scanned for a visual check, and facilities are provided to rescan a page or the whole document, to add pages, to insert pages or to delete pages.

Alliance PaperChase uses barcode or RFID technology to monitor the movement, archiving and destruction of documents, files, cases and archive boxes to provide a comprehensive records-management or file-tracking system. With the addition of the PaperChase document-management module, electronic documents and scanned images may also be managed.

Alliance PaperChase Records Management is barcode driven records management software for file tracking, storage, retention and retrieval of original documents, files and archive boxes, and with the PaperChase Imaging option scanned documents may also be stored, retrieved and displayed on screen.

Imaging for Windows

Imaging for Windows 4.0 provides imaging functions on the desktop in a single, easy-to-use application that enables users to scan, edit and save paper-based documents. With Imaging for Windows (I4W), users can convert paper based information into electronic documents that can be viewed, edited, OCRd, distributed via email, and posted to or downloaded from the Internet.

Imaging for Windows 4.0 is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, Vista and Windows XP, and introduces new features that enable greater efficiency and productivity, especially the ability to view and print PDF files and a new Multiple Document Interface (MDI) within the application viewer that lets you display multiple documents at the same time, with each document displayed in its own window. This enables you to work on different document types using a common viewing platform. For example, you can view both a TIFF image from a scanning application and a PDF document on the same screen at the same time.
